Delete your GoBeFish account

You can permanently delete your GoBeFish account from inside the app or request deletion without reinstalling the app.

Delete in the app

Open GoBeFish and go to Profile → Delete Account. Follow the confirmation and any re-authentication prompts. This is the fastest method.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the email address associated with your GoBeFish account. Use the subject GoBeFish Account Deletion Request.

What is deleted

Successful account deletion removes the GoBeFish authentication account and associated server-side profile information. GoBeFish fishing data stored locally on that device is also cleared when deletion is completed through the app.

What may be retained

For legitimate legal recordkeeping, GoBeFish may retain an anonymized record that a particular version of the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy was accepted or acknowledged. The live GoBeFish account identifier is designed to be removed from that retained event record and replaced with a non-identifying audit token.

Verification

For emailed deletion requests, we may need to verify that you control the account before completing deletion. Do not send us your password.
